The group has diversified interests in petroleum products, edible oil, PVC resin etc. The SSC Group's flagship company, SSC Oil Mills was set up in 2006 by C. Subramanian Chettiar. SANGAMAM gingelly oil, one of the brands of SSC Oil Mills, has become a household name because of its quality and distinctive flavour. The company also sells gingelly oil under various brand names such as TILLY and MAASS. ince its launch in 1990 by C. Subramanian Chettiar, SSC Transports has been providing reliable and safe road transport services to HPCL, BPCL and IOCL. The company owns a massive fleet of tanker trucks and a maintenance facility. In 2009 S. Selvam started SSC Importers to tap into India's flourishing import market. The company imports Polyvinyl Chloride resin from China, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore and distributes it all over india. Partnering with Motilal Oswal Securities Limited, Nellai Share Services was started by S.Selvam in 2005 to provide a wide range of financial services.
