The new family of 4850, 4860 and 4870 Top-Entry Agitators is developed for vertical applications. The basis for the development of the top-entry agitator range was to construct a range of reliable and robust machines capable of operating for lengthy time periods with very low power consumption, Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and a very insignificant environmental footprint without compromising the highest quality Flygt products are known for across a plethora of industries.

The Flygt 4600 series features eight different sized direct drive, stainless steel Flygt compact mixers. Motor capacities range from 0.75 to 25 kW for 50Hz and 0.9 to 30 kW for 60Hz (1,5 hp to 40 hp). Three different construction materials are available. General purpose stainless steel (ASTM 304), Hi-grade stainless steel (ASTM 316L) and Proacid (ASTM S31254).

SUBCAB cables are specially made for reliable and long-life operation of Flygt products and are especially well suited for submersible operations. These cables feature, among others, a special tear and abrasion resistant compound with a much higher tensile strength compared to conventional standard cables

The Flygt Active Seal™ System The Active Seal system is introduced in a new generation of Flygt Plug-In seals, as well as in many Flygt double seal systems with separate single seals. This zero-leakage system prevents liquid from penetrating into the stator housing. The innovative design lets the inner seal act as a micro-pump, continuously preventing liquid from entering the motor cavity. This creates a pumping action through the rotation of the laser-cut pumping vanes on the seal face. At the same time the outer seal prevents leakage of the pumped media into the buffer chamber.

Flygt MAS 711 is a pump monitoring system suitable for large Flygt pump models, that is pumps equipped with a separate cable for monitoring. The primary task is to protect the pump in case of failure and to prevent faults from occurring. In case of alarm, MAS has capabilities to present useful information and to communicate it to a higher level system i.e. a central computer. MAS consists of two main parts to be mounted in an electrical cabinet: a Base unit and an Operator panel. There is also an optional Power analyzer. A Pump memory is mounted as standard in all large pumps.  

Portable light weight Pumps for handling liquid with abrasive content. These are highly reliable pumps in the most challenging dewatering applications. Flygt 2000 pumps handle large flows of up to 330 l/s (5200 GPM) and high heads of up to 230 m (750 ft.). Available with power ratings from 3 to 90 kW, 50 Hz (5.3 to 140 hp, 60 Hz), these drainage pumps are engineered for professional use in tough mining, construction, tunnelling, and industrial dewatering applications. The Flygt 2000 submersible pumps stand up to any type of job. These pumps have their heritage from the famous Flygt Bibo pumps, and are highly wear-resistant, with the ability to handle chemically aggressive and mechanically abrasive fluids laden with particles. On top of that, they are safe for dry running and snoring operations. The Flygt 2000 pumps are available with two outer casing options: lightweight aluminum and corrosion resistant cast iron. A number of condition monitoring sensors are available for the ITT FLYGT pump range. Thermal switches for stator over temperature. CLS for water in oil detection. FLS for the detection of liquid in the stator housing. FLS10 for detection of liquid in the inspection chamber in the new midrange pump series, e.g. 3153, 3171, 3202 and 3301.

A mechanical switch in a plastic casing, freely suspended at the desired height from its own cable. When the liquid level reaches the regulator, the casing will tilt and the mechanical switch will close or break the circuit, thereby starting or stopping a pump or actuating an alarm device. No wear, no maintenance! In sewage pumping stations, for ground water and drainage pumping - in fact, for most level control applications - the ENM-10 is the ideal solution. The regulator casing is made of polypropylene and the cable is sheathed with a special PVC compound. The plastic components are welded and screwed together. Adhesive is never used. Impurities and deposits will not adhere to the smooth casing. The level regulator is available in different versions, depending upon the medium in which it is to be used. As standard, the regulator can be obtained with 6, 13, 20, 30 or 50 metres(20, 42, 65, 100 or 167 ft) of cable for liquids with specific density between 0,95 and 1,10 g/cm³; for other specific densities, the regulator is only available with 20 metres (65 ft) of the cable. The regulator can withstand up to 60º C (140º F).

Dry-installed N-technology for efficient mixing Flygt jet mixers combine the patented Flygt N-pump with an innovative ejector assembly for high-efficiency, low-cost mixing. These are ideal for demanding wastewater and sludge applications where dry installation is preferred. Combining two Flygt innovations into a powerful Flygt jet mixer system provides the highest sustained efficiency at the lowest possible cost. Extremely versatile, this floor-mounted system delivers powerful mixing performance in low liquid levels and partially filled tanks just as well as it does in full tanks.

Double-suction, base-mounted Series HSC³ pumps are available in 2” through 10” sizes. Motor sizes through 300 HP. Flows to 6500 GPM and heads to 400 feet. Bronze-fitted construction with a maximum working pressure of 175 psig. The HSC³ features internally self-flushing mechanical seals for maximum lubrication, debris removal and heat dissipation. The internally flushed seals allow for a shorter shaft for reduced deflection for longer seallife. Closed-end steel baseplate with full seam welds for strength and an open top for easy grouting. The pump bearings and mechanical seals can be serviced without disturbing the upper casing half, piping connections or electrical motor connections. An ANSI-OSHA-compliant coupling guard shields the flexible coupler.

Simple, we created a new one. Introducing the new Flygt BIBO. It still has the iconic look; a shape that means stability and robustness. We took our proven hydraulic design and merged it with features that once set the standard in dewatering pumping. The toughest pumps that ever were Flygt BIBO 2800 pumps handle flows of up to 100 l/s (1500 GPM), heads to 90 m (300 ft.), and solids of up to 80 mm (3.2 in.) in diameter. Highest efficiency for flows above 2500 l/s (40,000 gpm) The Flygt split case pump WS, HSC pump is available for flows of up to 14,000l/s (222,000 gpm) and can be installed horizontally or vertically. The standard versions of this pump are made of cast iron with rotation elements in either bronze or stainless steel. Different materials are available on request, which makes this pump the best choice for very large municipal or industrial water supply applications. Every pumps is customized to the specific requirements of each application. The heavy-duty casing withstands extreme pressure and its rugged design resists external forces and vibrations. Both suction and discharge connections are in the lower half casing. The ability to remove the upper half casing permits easy inspection, maintenance, and removal of the complete rotating element without disturbing the piping or driver. Double suction impeller minimizes axial thrust and guarantees highly efficient, smooth, and vibration-free operation. Renewable wearing rings permit easy maintenance of proper running clearances.  

The Xylem Water Solutions 4410 and 4430 Flygt mixers have alternative motor capacities of up to 4.3 kW for 50Hz and 4.6 kW for 60Hz (6.2 hp). Together with different gear ratios and various propeller diameters of up to 2.5 m (98 3/8 in), optimised selections for each application can be provided. The cast mixer is available with alternative coatings, depending on the application. Low speed submersible mixers are used for moving large volumes of low viscosity liquids. Electric drive versions are available, either with built-in compressor or arranged for on-site or shop air to operate the priming system.     Compressed air is blown through a jet into a tapered tube to create a vacuum. Air from the pump casing and suction line is drawn in with the compressed air and exhausted to the atmosphere. Water replaces the air – automatically priming the pump.
