The shakeout is exclusively used for separating moulding boxes and castings from sand and moulds. The shakeout consists of a grid trough bolted to the main body.

The screw feeder is used for feeding and metering additives such as bentonite, coal and dust binder. The additives can be metered volumetrically or gravimetrically. In the first case they are fed into the sand stream immediately prior to the mixer and the feeding can be monitored by flow meters. For more stringent dosing accuracy, feeding is performed via an additive weighing hopper.

It serve the cooling of hot foundry sand .Sand cooler consists of a vibrating conveyor made with an air bottom, a stationary exhaust hood , a moisturing unit, fan and a control unit. The sand is cooled under optimum heat transfer conditions in the fluidized bed by evaporation of water. The final moisture level is adjusted by the precisely controlled addition of water according to the temperature and throughput.

The polygonal screen is intended to aerate and screen out return foundry sand. Polygonal screen is used for separation of lumps and tramp metal from foundry moulding sand. It is very reliable and requires no maintainance.

Continuous shot-blasting unit with a special wear-proof steel wire mesh conveyor. The layout consists of a tunnel having the blasting room in the middle section. Turbines are mounted above the conveyor and are orientated in a way to ensure the perfect covering of the most complex parts. Final section of the tunnel is provided with a blowing system to remove the shots possibly remaining on the parts. Parts to be shot-blasted are hanged on the hook connected to an overhead monorail conveyor with hoists supported by the structure. The hoists installed on the overhead conveyor allow the lifting of heavy loads. The hook is transferred manuallyautomatically into the blasting chamber by means of drag chain and once in position, hook starts rotating on its axis and the combined forward and backward motion ensures the complete shot-blasting of parts. Turbines are mounted on other side of the machine. The loading capacity of the machine depends on the customer in accordance with the parts to be shot-blasted. The setup installation may require a pit depending on the height of the machine and supplied with a dust collector system.

The hooks once inside the blasting room and in position hook starts rotating on its axis and the combined forward and backward motion ensures the complete shot-blasting of parts. Manual shot-blasting room is provided to carry out manual blowing operations, to remove the shots possibly remaining on the parts. According to the size requested by the customer, rooms are designed and fabricated which may consist of one or two main doors for material access. Two small safety doors complete with special pushing lock and inspection porthole, on each side of the room. Structure may either consist of steel walls or self-bearing panels with polyurethane insulation. The internal walls are lined with wear-proof rubber. Floor is made of steel grating for the automatic recovery of abrasive with a maximum load capacity of 630 kgm2. Material handling can be done by trolleys or by overhead crane. Transparent rubber curtains on the main exit with doors. Room includes lightning system with sufficient number of lamps to guarantee the lighting efficiency and lamps are protected from the shots by special hardened easily replaceable glass screen. Transversal screw conveyor to transfer the shots from the main longitudinal screw conveyors of the machine. In case of an already existing room at the customer site, bmd can supply the design and the equipment to carryout the shot-blasting operation.

The mixer is very ruggedly constructed from heavy steel sections, with a fixed mixer pan, all mounted on substantial base frame. The motor is installed horizontally, driving the gearbox through a flexible coupling, with the complete assembly being mounted on top of the mixer body for easy access. The rotating mixer unit consist of two sets of mixing rotors, which rotate on their own axis and simultaneously revolve the around the tank circumference. The planetary type driving system, provides high speed agitation through each of the mixing rotors. Each rotor consist of three mixing arm with replaceable wear blades.

Steel conveyor is made of wear-proof steel. The whole surfaces of the parts are exposed to the shots thrown by the turbines due to the rotation of the conveyor. Parts are offloaded by the rotation of the steel conveyor in the opposite way and can fall directly into an empty container or through an offloading belt or vibrating conveyor. The loading capacity may vary from 500 to 3000 Kilos in weight. The setup installation does not require a pit and is supplied with a dust collector system.

The loading capacity may vary from 150 to 1000 Kilos in weight. The setup installation does not require a pit and is supplied with a dust collector system.

Bucket elevator is a mechanism for hauling flowable bulk materials vertically. It consists of: Buckets to carry the material. A belt to carry the buckets and transmit the pull. Electrical drive to drive the belt. The bucket elevators serve the sole purpose of transporting molding sand, to their respective storing areas

The belt conveyors serve the purpose of transporting moulding sand for preparation of mould in a moulding machine. It also helps to convey waste sand to waste sand storage yard & return sand to return sand storage hopper.
