Since 1999, chemechel has been focusing in industrial energy management sector and undertaking mechanization and automaton projects for energy conservation and energy recovery system requirements in textile and chemical processing plants. In 2001 the company has engineered a system successfully to produce charcoal from coconut shells and use extracted waste biomass gas as fuel for electricity power generation. The company has diversified its operations in to the field of manufacturing and supplying coconut based products such as coir fibers, pith blocks, shells powder, charcoal and activated carbon to inland and overseas markets and of developing processing systems by engineering with advanced techniques for cost effective operations.
