    The grain to be weighed is first slowed down in the feedpipe by means of a falling brake and then reaccelerated, following which is conducted through a pipe bend, which is suspended in a load cell. The load cell is weighed in exact proportion to the quantity of the throughput.   The electronic evaluating system amplifies and processes the electric signal of the weighing cell. The actual throughput is digitally displayed in tons per hour, which is monitored by two adjustable limit values.   The weight of grain being transported through the Vertical Pipe Weigher is calculated from the throughput signal by an electronic integration device and subsequently, displayed on a resetable summation counter. In event of programming a planned flow capacity, an electronic reset meter is available as fittings product. For driving dosing and control technique, an analogue output device shows actual flow capacity. The Vertical Pipe Weigher is made of service-free construction and a working system guarantees impressive  The measuring pipe should be assembled so that the middle section of the pipe, containing the mounted load cell, is exactly vertical.   The grain supply always passes through the 90° falling brake. It is important, that there are no sources of vibration where the unit is installed, but if strong vibrations occur in the piping system, the supply and runoff connections should be fitted with rubber sleeves. One should also pay attention to air streams that may occur flow procedure.   For compensation of pressure a connecting pipe is fitted near scales outlet. It is recommendable to mount the electronic evaluator at such a distance from the measuring pipe that it can be seen clearly.   The electricity is connected in accordance with the connecting plan supplied. The following cables are available: 1. Mains cable 230 Volt, 50 Hz, 0,5 A 2. Connecting line to the measuring pipe 4 x 0,5 mm² shielded 3. This coriolis force is absorbed through a spring element below the rotor and detected by means of two magnetic flux induction sensors.   The coriolis force is completely proportional to the mass flow.   Material-specific characteristics such as, i.e., different moisture levels, flow characteristics or friction do not influence the measurement as  Pulse time spacing of both inductive sensors is detected accurately by the separate evaluating electronic system.   The momentary throughput in (kg/h) is then calculated from these times, indicated and compared with two adjustable limit values.   An electronic integration device then uses the output signal to calculate the total weight fed through the rotor balance system and display the result on a resetable summation device. In addition, kg pulses are available for the remote counters and yield calculators.  The evaluation electronic system can be installed at any distance from the weigher.   The system can be supplied in a wall-mounted cabinet or suitable for control panel installation.   A preselection counter for setting the required throughput as well as a 0 (4) - 20 A analogue output of the momentary throughput can be supplied as an option for control and registration.

The fast roll supported with bearing is fixed on the body where as the slow roll supported with bearing is adjustable to achieve the rolls pitch. The engagement and disengagement of the rolls is done with a hand lever. The roll cleaning is performed by brush or scraper. The product is taken out from discharge hopper after grinding. The provision for direct lifting with pneumatic system is also provided on customer's choice.

A baffle plate is arranged right below. The regulation of the flow rate is done by means of a hydropneumatic control system. It causes the gate to be opened or closed so far that the actual flow rate corresponds with the desired setting. The force to move the gate is effected by a compressed air supply of 2 bar pressure. It controls a hydraulic cylinder via hydropneumatic converter allowing a regulation with millimeter accuracy. This process happens fully automatically.  The Flow Controlling Unit, consisting of baffle plate, load cell and cylinder unit, requires an installation height of only 135 to 220 mm. Assembled inside a steel case it is totally dust tight. It should be mounted right below the outlet of a silo or a vessel. The unit is suitable for installations in dust explosion zones 22.  In a mill the primary use of the Flow Controller is to configure grain compositions. Because of a low installation height it is possible to substitute older measuring and mixing devices without expenses of a rebuilding. Another interesting application in mills is the regulated discharge of tempering cells. This allows easily to set up the capacity for the first break.  For the compound feeds industry the principle use besides dosage is the continuous configuration of feed compositions. The Flow Controller can be used for all free flowing bulk materials. It is possible to activate up to 10 specific calibrations.   The Evaluation and Control Electronic can be affixed entirely independent from the flow controlling unit. It is available for panel mounting or in a separate housing.   Substantial evaluation and easy handling are possible through the application of a micro computer with LCD graphic display. It provides the following functions:1. Display of flow rate in kg/h2. Preset of a desired flow rate in kg/h or in %3. Observation of flow rate by two adjustable limit values4. Summation of total weight since last set to zero5. Preselection of a desired batch in kg, reaching this weight affects the gate to be closed automatically6. Extern start and stop function by sps-control activation 7. Output of kg-pulses for extern evaluation and processing8. Analogue output of flow rate from 0 to 10 Volts9. Graphic recording of flow rate over 48 hours10. Alarm output for deviations in case of congestions or an empty silo11.
