The TDR100 Time-Domain Reflectometer is the core of the Campbell Scientific time-domain reflectometry system. This system is used to accurately determine soil volumetric water content, soil bulk electrical conductivity, rock mass deformation, or user-specific time-domain measurement. Up to 16 TDR100s can be controlled using a single Campbell Scientific datalogger. PC-TDR software is included with the TDR100, which is used during system setup and troubleshooting.

The GYROMAT instrument series is a range of high precision surveying gyroscopes with band suspension, which are the result of more than 60-years of experience in the development and manufacture of gyroscopic measuring instruments. The fully automatic measuring procedure and measurement technique that have no preliminary orientation provide the greatest accuracy in determining direction in those areas in which other methods cannot be efficiently used, for example in mining and tunnelling. The GYROMAT 3000 has for many years been a reliable instrument for measuring directions with an accuracy of 1/1000th gon, which corresponds to a deviation in arc of about 1.6 cm over a distance of one kilometre. The time needed for measuring a single direction is about 10 minutes. This time can be reduced by applying two other survey programs, but the measuring accuracy is also reduced. The option to add a theodolite or a total station as required enables the instrument to be used universally for geodetic applications or control work. The GYROMAT 5000 is the latest product for high precision direction measurement with an accuracy of 0.8/1000th gon, which corresponds to a deviation in arc of about 1.2 cm over a distance of one kilometre. The time needed for measuring a single direction is only about 6 to 9 minutes. The new piezo drive with a high resolution angle encoder and the new energy concept with a reliable energy storage system and replaceable battery make the system faster, more reliable and easier to maintain. The option to add a theodolite or a total station as required enables the instrument to be used universally for geodetic applications or control work.

Mobile Laser Scanning with the Riegl VMX series 3D laser scanners brings the high accuracy that Riegl is known for to the mobile domain. Each system comes equipped with multiple scanners, cameras, a GNSS, and IMU. These systems can be attached to any moving vehicle such as a car, train or boat to collect huge volumes of color point cloud data. The VMX series is a robust system for all weather environments and makes data collection over large areas fast and simple.

The system is ideal for industrial facilities. Personnel working in exposed locations or facilities dealing with explosives or fuels can take protective measures when warned of lightning danger. It can then trigger its alarm to indicate when the danger has passed, allowing work to recommence as soon as possible. It is used for lightning warning applications and in research applications for measuring the local electric field. It measures the vertical component of the atmospheric electric field at the earth's surface. It is typically part of a larger electric-field system. It includes an integrated CR1000 datalogger, and so can be expanded with the addition of other sensors and peripherals.

The Disaster  warning system is for protecting lives and property from the damaging effects of both natural and manmade disasters. It provides real time early warning alerts in advance of the impact of disasters and hazards such as tornadoes, lightning storms, tsunami,  floods, wild fires and earthquakes. It can also be given for industrial, chemical, and biological accidents, as well as intentional terrorist actions. Most potential threats to human life and property will be included in the system. Dataloggers, which may also be referred to as Measurement and Control Units (Systems) or Microloggers, are the heart of a data acquisition system. They measure sensors at a specific scan rate, process data, store the data, and initiate telecommunication. Our dataloggers also have control capabilities allowing them to respond to specific site conditions by opening flood gates, turning fans off/on, etc.

Campbell Scientific Inc.  weather stations are based around a programmable datalogger that measures the sensors, then processes, stores, and transmits the data. Our dataloggers have wide operating temperature ranges, on-board instructions, programmable execution intervals, and ample input channels for commonly used sensors. Wind vector, wet bulb, histogram, and sample on maxima or minima are standard in the datalogger instruction sets. Most sensors can be measured directly—without external signal conditioning. Data are typically viewed and stored in the units of your choice (e.g., wind speed in mph, m/s, knots). Measurement rates and data recording intervals are independently programmable, allowing calculation of 15-minute, hourly, and daily data values from 1-minute or 1-second measurements, for example. Conditional outputs, such as rainfall intensity and wind gusts, can also be recorded. The program can be modified at any time to accommodate different sensor configurations or new data processing requirements. If needed, channel capacity can be expanded using multiplexers, including a model designed specifically for thermocouples.
