Flow Measurement Trainer
This system is designed to study various types of flow sensors and transmitters. An orifice meter or a venturi meter is fitted in two parallel lines. A rotameter is provided for visual flow measurement. Tappings are taken at a fixed distances on the orifice/venturi for the differential pressure measurement on a U tube manometer. Work-pieces of aluminum, plastic black & white are fed from a storage magazine onto a conveyor belt by a cylinder. The conveyor takes the work-piece for inspection. Here material characteristics and work piece outline profile are checked using an opto-electric sensor and an ultrasonic sensor.
