The column, bed and saddle are rigid structures made of high-strengh casting. Well ribbed box-form and duly reinforced, full power to be used. All the guidways of the column, bed and saddle are hand scrapped to maintain high accuracy and ensure a long trouble-free life.

The spindle gear box has 8 mechanical speeds from 90 to 885 RPM. The gears are made from steel. The totally enclosed 2 H.P. Motor is direct coupled with gear box. The levers for changing the speed are avoided by means of providing special gear system. The speed can be changed in the running.
