SEIS (Services Exports From India Scheme)
SEIS Scheme is basically for the various service providers in various sectors. Very beneficial for Inbound Tour Operators earning Foreign Exchange and Hotels. For Tour Operators, it is 5% of Total Net Foreign Exchange earned and for Hotels it is 3% of Total Net Forex Earned. We usually charge reasonable amount for getting these licenses for our clients from the department.

MEIS (MERCHANDISE EXPORTS FROM INDIA SCHEME)
MEIS is Basically an incentive based scheme from the DGFT. Incentives vary from 2 to 5% depending on the product and the market where it is being exported. It needs proper expertise and familiarity with the various concepts of the relevant Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20 in order to successfully get the MEIS Scrip from the Department.
