Link Cartridge Fuse is an over current protective device used to protect electronic equipments manufactured in ceramic or glass tubing. It is a current responsive device and is placed in a series with electric circuit to be protected. The opening of fuses signifies that something is wrong with the circuit and should be corrected before switching on the current again.
