SHANKAR MAGNASITE MINES, Started 2008, and mining lease sanctioned by the Government in 2009, for 20 years, and the production started from April 2010. More than 3000 M.T supply to different Agencies upto dec 2010, i.e., steel industries, refractors, chemicals industries (Epson salts, ceramic industries & glass industries). Our mine is one of the best quality magnasite mines in India, we get raw magnasite more than 43% mgo, we produce Raw Magnasite and Calcined Magnasite. Our production capacity 400 M.T in Raw Magnasite 100 M.T in Calcined Magnasite. Our company lead by Er. A.S. Shankar Ganesan B.E., Dip Mining Engg, P.G.Dip Min Expl, and mining., as C.E.O with the technical adviser, Er. R. Ragunathan B.E., Retired G.M Burn & Standard, having thirty five years experience in magnasite field, and previously worked in India’s older and largest magnasite mines production company Burn & Standard. We have mined four different materisals. 1. Raw magnasite (Raw Mag) ,lumps or powder form. 2. Pyroxenite, periodite (magnesium rich silicates). 3. Micro nutrients (Mg,Ca) magnesium rich soil. 4. Caustic calcined magnasite with 200Mesh Size (Calci Mag), We have interest to work to supply the raw material to chemical industry directly with there specific requirements. From mine to end user in chemical industry is our motto. We have achieve high quality with the consistency, use of special picking selective breaking, separation of grade, make our material in high grade.
