Suzerain Insulators(now merged into Skytouch Tapes Pvt. Ltd.) is Asia\'s first country to develop and introduce crepe kraft paper, kraft paper sheets, electrical grade insulating crepe kraft paper, insulating kraft paper and crepe paper sheets having excellent mechanical and electrical properties for transformer industries, cable and copper conductor industries. The special pattern insulation crepe kraft paper and kraft paper sheets is made from base kraft paper of very high quality with high porosity, made by reputed mills of India. The crepe paper is tested by ERDA (Electrical Research and Development Association, Vadodara) as per IEC specifications. The physical properties as well as electrical properties are equivalent to the internationally available Crepe Paper. The company has a Fully Automatic plant in Maharashtra, India having a capacity to produce 1200 tons of crepe paper per annum. The quality of the crepe paper manufactured at this plant is automatically monitored by the machine. The surrounding environment around the plant is also well maintained to take care of the critical electrical insulation properties required by the crepe paper. This crepe paper is exported to various countries worldwide on regular basis.
