Ultrasonic double sheet detection detects the difference between no sheet (air), single sheet, and double sheets. The standard 18 mm diameter unit detects paper, thin plastics, and foils with weights from 10 g/m2 to 2000 g/m2. The sensor is equipped with four evaluation programs to detect a variety of materials.
