Kanthal wire heating element wound externally on the muffle and embedded in high temperature embedding cement, insulated with high efficiency ceramic fiber minimizing heat loss. Temperature controlled by an energy regulator and with a silver fuse which prevents temperature rising above 1100 oC. Temperature is indicated by an 80 mm pyrometer connected to a thermocouple.
