Design of S-AMF panels as per installed Synchronised AMF panels, we undertake projects Synchronisation with GRID. We have designed for pojects paralelling Multiple Turbine generators. Further we have designed for paralleling DG sets with Multiple STG;s.    The displayed Synchronisation panel was manufactured and installed for kerns Liebers Springs and Stampings. The Paralled sets were 625 - 625 - 125 KVA DG sets of Volvo,Kirloskar and Ashok Leyland makes respectively.    We manufacture Acoustic(Sound proof canopy) for the DG set built in high quality steel and sound attenuating material reduces noise emissions to a minimum. It has easily accesible service and maintainance points through the large doors which contribute to the ease of service of the machine. Sound proof materials used are fire proof. Acoustic is detachable type and can be moved from one place to other. Acoustic frames are fitted using bolt/nuts. The Sound Level at distance of 1 meter is 75 Decibels. The Acoustic is generally powder coated, on request can be sent with only red oxide so that you can paint it as per your needs. The acoustic in the picture sent is Powder coated with Orange/black color. This acoustic is for 25 KVA Genset. DEEPANKURAM have a well-seasoned team, which has total experience of over 150 acoustics. Extreme Care is taken while Acoustics manufacturing not leaving behind any minor defects. The sound proof material used is Glass/Rock wool which are imported from Dubai. The Inner part of the frame is filled with Glass/Rock wool and perforator sheet on it and Punched GI sheets are covered on that. Rivets are used to fix GI Sheets to Frames. The Noise level at a distance of 3 meter is 75db in free field conditions. We also manufacture acoustics for other OEM's.Accoustics done at Deepankuram ranges from 25 kva to 500 kva. The acoustic costs are based on Engine capacity, make, and place available in the site, as these factors are contribute for manufacture of acoustic.

Mechanical - Single bearing with SAE disc coupling arrangements, also 2 bearing- Protection IP 23S   Insulation - Main stator and rotor class F or H- Exciter stator and rotor class F or H   COMPOUND EXCITATION SYSTEM - This system compromises:- A 3 phase compounding transformer- An auxillary winding- 3 phase rectifier bridge- A voltage regulator(optional upto 125 kva)These components are mounted at the rear of the alternator in a substanstial terminal box.   FUNCTION OF THE COMPOUND SYSTEM The alternator exciter is supplied with D.C Current from the diode bridge which receives two sources of A.C> power- The first supplied by the auxillary winding in the stator being proportional to the voltage of the alternator. - The second supplied by the secondary winding of the 3 phase compounding transformer and being proportional toi the load current and P.F. The resultant current provides an excitation firld current that varies as a function of the load and P.F. to maintain the output voltage resonably constant (self regulating withought A.V.R)   Voltage Regulation - Alternators upto 125 KVA are supplied withought a regulator, the basic compound excitation system maintaining the voltage to within +- 5% after reaching thermal stability(This is better than most countries main supply.) Electronic AVR can be provided as optional for regulation within +-2%>The alternator voltage is adjustable by a rheostat over the range 380 to 415V, 50 Hz and 440 to 480V, 60 Hz. - Alternators above 125 KVA are supplied with a electronic voltage regulator that maintains the voltage to within +-2% - Voltage adjustment by rheostat - Power factor range 0.8 to 1.0 - including cold to hot drift - Compound "BACK-UP" auto regulation system in case of regulator failure by insertion of a rheostat. Note Alternators can be supplied with windings giving other voltages if so required.   ELECTRICAL PERFORMANCE Apart from the voltage regulation characteristics the compound excitation system gives you the following advantages: - Voltage build-up from residual magnetism - Protection against low speed operation- Good motor starting, the compound system giving 2.5 to 3 times full load capacity.- Sustained short circuit current of the order of 3 times full load current.- Volts/hertz responsive - with any abdrupt in speed from the engine a corresponding reduction in voltage output releives the engine load allowing for faster re-establishment of correct speed.- Voltage dip on application of full load 0.8 P.F. in the order of 15 to 20%.- Recovery time at constant speed for full load application less than 0.5 seconds.- Over voltage limited in-case of regulator failure the voltage rise is limited to a value supplied by the compound system(adjustable).- 3 phase sensed compound system allows good operation with the unbalanced load system.- Good overload characteristics

the alternator output is checked to ensure that it is within specification. If so, then the generator contactor is energised and the load is supplied from the generator. When the mains supply returns, the mains available lamp is illuminated within specified limits. The main is then monitored for a pre-set time to ensure that the supply is stable. The generator contactor is then de-energised and the mains contactor energised so that the mains supply is restored to the load. The 'alternator available' and 'alternator on-load' lamps extinguish and 'mains on load' lamp is illuminated. A short break in approximately 1 second occurs whilst the changeover is complete.

  • Automatic Mains Failure Panel

    Automatic Mains Failure Panel

    Request for Price

AMF panel and generator packages are designed to provide emergency power during mains supply failure. During operation, the control panel of the AMF monitors the mains entering the building. If a mains failure occurs, the panel will disconnect the mains from the load, the generator is started and its output connected to the load. (The load being appliances, lights, etc in use within the house/office/factory at the time of mains failure). The generator continues to supply the building until the mains supply returns. The generator then automatically disconnects, stops and the mains is re-connected to the load. The AMF panel reverts to the standby mode ready to respond in case of another mains failure. Operation With the generator in 'Auto' mode, the incoming main is monitored continuously. If the mains voltage falls outside the preset limits, a 'mains failure' has occurred and the process of starting the generator set is initiated. Once the mains failure is recognised, the contacts are released to disconnect the load from the mains. The 'mains available' and 'mains on load' lamps extinguish. There is a pre-set and adjustable time delay before the generator is started. This avoids unnecessary starting of the generator when very short duration mains breaks occur e.g. 2 or 3 second breaks due to lightning strikes. After the delay, the engine fuel solenoid / ignition system is energised. A pre-heat period begins for generators fitted with indirect injection diesel engines. The choke is operated on petrol-engined sets. The starter motor relay energises and the engine is cranked for a pre-set period (typically 10 seconds). If the engine fires up and the speed increases through the 'crank-cut' threshold, then the starter motor is dis-engaged. Alternatively, if the engine does not start during the first crank period then the starter de-energises for an equal rest period before energising for another attempt. If the engine has not started after the last 'crank' period, then the engine fuel solenoid / ignition is de-energised and the generator is deemed to have failed to start and the appropriate annunciator is illuminated. Assuming that the generator has started during one of the attempts, the alternator output is checked to ensure that it is within specification. If so, then the generator contactor is energised and the load is supplied from the generator. In normal circumstances, the period from mains failure occurring to generator supply being connected is about 20 seconds. During generator operation, the engine oil pressure and temperatures are monitored and should an abnormality occur, the generator will immediately be shutdown and the appropriate annunciator illuminated. The generator is 'run-on' for a cooling down period (adjustable up to 30 minutes) before the fuel solenoid / ignition system is de-energised and the engine stops. The operational cycle is then complete and the generator returns to a standby condition. During this time the starter battery is maintained in a charged condition by a 'trickle' charger supplied from the mains.
