After 10 successful years of operation, Kensri School Academy of Excellence wanted to revamp the bags provided to their students and staff. Neo was their first choice for producing customized quality backpacks.
Requirement
School bags are the most neglected commodity in the bag industry when it comes to providing ergonomic designs. Kensri School was looking for durable bags that offered a support system for the back along with kid-friendly bags that are functional and trendy.
Process
Understanding the client’s need is the first step towards designing the required product. But to design a better product, one needs to understand the user’s requirements. The team at Neo got back to basics by interviewing students and understanding their functional and design requirements. Detailing for the bag proved to be the most intensive process, requiring 5 meetings to decide on the design and fabric.
After a series of sampling and tailor-making, the backpack was tested for its functional and ease-of-use. A student was also asked to use the bag for a week and test the bag's durability.

Tailor-made bags that were durable, functional and trendy
Back support - Waist belt on bags to provide ergonomic support - reducing pressure on the back and shoulder
Functional - Side pockets, water bottle pocket and an organiser panel to store stationery were provided based on student feedback
Trendy – Our clean colour combinations were well received by the management and students alike
Results
An order of over 1200 backpacks was placed and the same delivered in 15 working days. Kensri School also ordered sling bags and waist pouches for students and management.

Intel Corporation is one of the world’s largest semiconductor chip and microprocessor manufacturers. Its brand has grown leaps and bounds, making them a household name.
Requirement
On an average, a software professional tends to carry about 8-10 kilos of weight on a daily basis. This places an emphasis on creating highly durable bags with greater load-bearing capacity. Our company was approached by Intel for the development of durable laptop backpacks for their employees, all over India.
Process
As the load-bearing capacity of the bag was of prime concern, our focus was on developing backpacks that could sustain prolonged periods of excess weight. The client tested the bag’s durability by filling it with 20 kilos of sand and suspending it on a hook over a weekend.
