It is used in providing high-quality serum specimen for biochemistry, serology and immunology tests in medical inspection. Gel separating serum is a semi-solid inert gel composed of a number of compounds. It is made of medical polymeric materials. It has the good thixotropy and heat resistance, chemical stability. It also can avoid high-temperature decomposition of small molecules, thus greatly reducing the risk of testing equipment pipe blockage. After centrifugation, the serum, gel and blood cell can be separated. The gel can effectively separate the serum from cells, which can prevent the touch between serum and cells and guarantee the pureness of serum.1. Invert tube 5-8 times to make the blood and additive mix totally after collection.2. Maintain the tube for 15-30 minutes after collection.3. Centrifuge with an rpm 3000-3800/min for 8-10 minutes.4. The serum obtained should be transferred to another container within 2 hours after blood collection.5. Place the tube in automatic biochemical analyser for biochemistry testing.

The additive clot activator shall be sprayed in tube wall and it adopts physical method to make blood clot without any support from heating equipment, such as water temperature thermostat. Maintain the tube for 15-30 minutes after blood collection, then centrifuge, which can obtain the ideal and high quality serum.
