At the same time they serve as a filter. These provide an excellent growing medium for new vegetation,which then can provide shelter,nourishment and habitat for wild life. Coco logs can be cut into sections and stacked for stream bank stabilization fluids containment,or used separately for check structures. In shoreline stream channel applications,the logs are resistant to the forces of water,to reduce wave and flow impact .
