The WMA-5 is our 5th generation CO2 gas analyzer designed for applications that demand a high degree of accuracy and control with minimal maintenance. Our innovative �Auto-Zero� technology ensures fast warm-up, long term stability, accuracy and analyzer calibration. The TARGAS-1 console is compact, lightweight (2.1 kg) and is packaged in a rugged, aluminum enclosure with a shock absorbing polyurethane base making it extremely robust and reliable under harsh environmental conditions. It incorporates two non-dispersive infrared gas analyzers for CO2 and H2O ensuring accurate measurement and control of both CO2 and H2O. An internal air supply unit provides accurately controlled reference air to the leaf cuvette and another pump draws the sample (analysis) air to the gas analyzer. Both pumps are user controlled and accuracy is ensured by two internal electronic flow sensors. The TARGAS-1 is perfectly suited for applications that demand portability and a high degree of accuracy and control with minimal maintenance. The design of the instrument ensures an inherent calibration stability that has been confirmed by many years of experience in gas analysis technology. The TARGAS-1 gas analyzers should not require frequent recalibration, although we do recommend periodic checks to confirm system integrity.

Our rugged STP-2 Soil Temperature Probe can be used to measure soil temperature. It is commonly used with our SRC-2 Soil Respiration Chamber.

The SRC-2 Soil Respiration Chamber with built-in temperature sensor can be used with the EGM-5, TARGAS-1 and CIRAS-3 for rapid, accurate measurement of closed system soil CO2 efflux. The chamber is constructed out of rugged PVC with a stainless steel ring providing a good seal.

The TDR 300 has two volumetric water content modes; one for standard soils and one for higher clay soils. In volumetric water content (VWC) mode, the meter converts a measured electrical signal into percent soil moisture content using an equation valid over a wide range of mineral soils. In irrigation mode, the meter displays a relative water content (RWC) on a scale of 0 to 100 corresponding to a user-defined upper and lower soil moisture reference level. Water deficit, the amount of water needed to bring the soil moisture content up to the upper reference level, is also calculated and displayed. Soil Compaction meters (often called penetrometers) are used to determine the density of soil and other material. An operator pushes a rod with attached (ASAE standard) cone into the ground. The resistance of the cone is displayed as it is pushed in the ground. This compaction meter enables you to identify compacted areas in pounds per square inch so that you can use deep tillage or other practices recommended for your area based on hard facts. Features a stainless steel rod with depth marks of 3,6,9,12,15 and 18inches. Analog gauge reacts to pressure applied to cone while penetrating soil.

The UniSpec-SC, commonly referred to as a "Reflectometer", is a single channel, field portable instrument designed for measurement of leafcanopy reflectance. It features an innovative user interface with integral computer and large, full color LCD, built-in light source and extensive range of accessories for measurement on individual leaves (including needles) and vegetation. It is a truly, self-contained system that does not require an external PC for operation.

The Pump-Up Pressure Chamber is different from the conventional gas chamber in that it does not require a source of compressed gas. The instrument produces pressure in the chamber required to take water potential readings by pumping it as shown below. The relatively small chamber allows the user to achieve about one half Bar (7.25 psi) pressure per stroke. The instrument is limited to 20 Bar and is designed primarily for irrigation schedulingmonitoring, particularly for managing deficit irrigation.

Model 670 Pressure Chamber Instrument is unique in our instrument line in due to the large chamber. The chamber is 4 inches in diameter and 7 inches deep. We only recommend this instrument if you are working with a large leaf since it takes a large amount of nitrogen to fill the chamber and makes working with smaller samples time consuming. The Model 615 Pressure Chamber Instrument has quickly become a favourite for growers making routine water measurements and scheduling irrigation.
