Generally, it’s available in abrasion resistant grade, but can also be supplied in FR, OR and HR grades on request. The CLEAT of belt is reinforced with fabric; it’s solid & anti-shock to avoid distortion and normally used up to 60⁰C. Sidewall cleat and base belt are joined through hot vulcanization. Cleat and Sidewall are bolted to prevent leakage.

Heat Resistant Conveyor Belts are meant to exhibit high resistance towards hot materials with high temperature such as Pellets, Sinter, Cement, Powder, Chemicals and Fertilizers. The cover rubber of these belts are specially designed to provide heat transfer protection to the belt carcass and also improved tensile strength and abrasion resistance property to ensure long life of the belt.In the HR- As per IS T1 & DIN T category, the conveyor belts are made out of special rubber compound that contains high quality SBR. They help in the transportation of material such as hot coke, clinkers & hot lime stone. Maximum temperature on the belt surface is 100 ⁰C & Maximum temperature of material handled is 125 ⁰C.In the SHR-T2 – As per IS T2 & DIN T category, special synthetic rubber compound can endure higher temperature for transportation of materials such as hot cement, sintered coke, or soda ash. The Maximum temperature on the belt surface is 125 ⁰C & Maximum temperature of material handled is 150 ⁰C.In the UHR-T3 – category, special blend of EPDM & synthetic rubber can endure very high temperature for transportation of materials such as sintered coke, or soda ash. The Maximum temperature on the belt surface is 180 ⁰C & Maximum temperature of material handled is 220 ⁰C.

Very commonly used rating is 400/4 with 2mm top & 4mm bottom covers. However, these specifications can be elevated to higher ratings up to 1000/4 with 2mm top & 5 mm bottom for heavier buckets which carry heavy quantities of materials.   Very common use of these belts is in the Rice Industry where rice is delivered from point to point & even conveying the final product to Silos where it is stored.
