Our portable key way milling machines are extremely handy & useful for making key ways on large shafts of mills, rolls, cranes, process plants etc. The machines can cut key ways fast and accurate. Running on single phase stepless variable speed of 350 to 750 RPM, the machine can cut key ways in one setting up to 36Wide X150Long with model TPKN16250 & 80 wide x 200 long with model 75SS on shafts diameter 38-250 & 200-600 respectively. The Internal Type Keyway Milling machine is for machining keyways inside Bores. The machine is mounted on an internal expansion chuck assembly which can be adjusted as per the inner diameter of the bore. Reference can be taken from the same bore or any external reference too. It can be used to create a flat surface, slots, pockets and keyways. The machine is equipped with a small dia end mill, which is generally electrically driven, but pneumatic and hydraulic drive options can also be made available. The linear travel can be manual or auto, as desired. The machines are compact and can be mounted on any part along the axis of the shaft as desired. It can also be mounted at an angle to mill multiple keyways, maintaining the certain angle with respect to each other. The machine can be mounted taking reference form the existing machined surface or even independent of it, as required.
