For Instance High Purity nitrogen DX model is introduced in the field of NITROGEN GENERATION PROCESS, As DX Process leads to reduce oxygen content as low as it can i.e. below 5 ppm.   A PSA system is followed by additional purification unit using palladium as catalyst for removal of oxygen & moisture contents upto 1 PPM, Level with mostly desirable reducing constituent hydrogen (adjustable).   The Palladium –Deoxo unit, used industrially ran with additional hydrogen feed, for exothermic reaction : O2 + 2H2 ----- 2H2O   is run with one reactor filled with Palladium Catalyst. The Nitrogen, coming directly from the PSA system with the remaining oxygen, is mixed over mixer with Hydrogen before entering the catalyst reactor. At the catalyst surface the oxygen reacts with hydrogen to produce water and heat. The heat and water have to be removed by a standard water after cooler and gas dryer to required level. If nitrogen is needed at higher pressure, we can provide a nitrogen booster compressor after the gas generator. By this addition, it is possible to compress nitrogen gas to any high pressure.

PSA Nitrogen Gas Generators are suitable for high purity and high flow on-site gas generation requirements. They are the perfect replacement for bulk supplies and expensive and erratic gas supply from merchants in cylinders. Mature technology from our German Principals – CarboTech, since 1984, makes Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) the ideal choice for on-site pure Nitrogen inert gas.

The compressed air is passed through a Twin Tower PSA module interconnected with automatic changeover valves. At the bottom of PSA towers, Activated Alumina is provided which has tendency of adsorbing moisture from compressed air. After passing through this bed of Activated Alumina air gets dried. Supply of dry compressed air from this layer of desiccant (activated alumina) will be continuous without any interruption. Dried compressed air will now come in contact with bed of carbon molecular sieves (CMS). Carbon Molecular Sieves are special grade of adsorbant which have the property of preferential adsorption of oxygen molecules. At a time one tower remains under nitrogen production cycle, whereas the other tower undergoes regeneration which is achieved through depressurization of the tower to atmospheric pressure. The two towers of PSA modules are inter-connected with automatic changeover valves through pneumatic signal given by solenoid valve which in turn get the electrical signal from the timer provided in the control panel. The changeover time cycle will be 1 + 1 minute. The outgoing nitrogen gas is sent to a surge vessel where the minimum nitrogen pressure will be maintained with the help of Back pressure Regulator. The product nitrogen will now be sent to the consumer point through a pressure reducing valves at required pressure.
