Gherkin is a term generally used to refer to a savoury pickled cucumber. Gherkins and commercial cucumbers belong to the same species (Cucumis sativus), but are from different cultivar groups. They are usually picked when 4 to 8 cm (1 to 3 in) in length and pickled in jars or cans with vinegar (often flavored with herbs, particularly dill; hence, "dill pickle") or brine. India has today emerged as the origin of the finest gherkin cultivation, processing and exporters to the every-growing world requirement.

Gherkins or cornichons as they are known in Europe, are cleaned, graded, soaked and washed before being put into food-grade High Density Polyethylene barrels. Barrels are sealed with a gasket and O-ring to avoid any external contact. We supply gherkins in brine, natural alcoholic vinegar or acetic acid.

Gherkin is a term generally refers to savoury pickled cucumber.  They are sourced from farmers, culling of defects, properly graded, sorted, soaked and washed. Finally, after quality check, they are put inside the barrel containing either natural vinegar, acetic acid or brine(sodium chloride) as per the specification of the buyer.  They are immersed in 220/240 liter barrel, made of Food Grade High Molecular High Density Polyethylene(HMHDPE), containing 150-180 kg of gherkin.The specifications regarding grades of the product, packing medium to be used, ingredients that go into the pickle, etc. are all specified by the consumers and importers.
