Dry the stone completely. Clean the surface of the stone with dry cloth so that every loose/dust particle is removed. Take coat/resin in a plastic bowl, add A-1 (blue liquid) maximum 2% (depending on the climatic condition) of the coat and mix thoroughly then add C-2 (white liquid) max 2% of coat again mix well. Pour the mixed coat on the stone slab and apply quickly with the help of iron blade (Funner patti). Important point to remember is that the coat should be used within 3-5 minutes after mixing all the components to avoid pre-gelling and wastage. Let the coat cure for 8-12 hrs. Remove the excess coating by grinding with 320 no. (Resin bond abrasive) and ensure that the coat is removed. (Do not grind excessively to avoid removal of coat from pores.)   Precaution : Don't Put A-1 & C-2 at the same time to avoid fire accident.

Polyester film is a high-performance film made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin. The Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) resin is made from Ethylene Glycol and dimethyl terephthalate (DMT). The PET resin used is of a similar intrinsic viscosity (IV) to fiber grade resin, used to produce polyester fibers, but has a higher purity. PET resin is made in special grades for specific film types and often contains slip modifiers. These are one hundred percent solid paints. Each particles of the powder is a homogeneous mixture of pigments, resins, curing agent and activators. When applied by suitable technique and cured at elevated temperatures, the powder melts and forms a continuous impervious film.

Polyester Coatings have excellent chemical and mechanical stability, high filling capacity and high resistance to removal and shrinkage. These products are used either as base coats or as exceptionally brilliant top coats for wood surfaces after specific sanding, brushing and polishing processes. Because of the high solid content, these products are particularly recommended for closed pore cycles and modern furniture coating. If suitably sanded and polished, it is possible to obtain high gloss pigmented or transparent wet look topcoats. Direct gloss polyester base coats, also known as polyester base coats, do not contain paraffin. These base coats allow easier manual sanding as compared to polyurethane primers. They differ from the latter because of their high solid content; allowing higher filling capacity and fewer applications. Polyester base coats, being particularly resistant to shrinkage and removal, are recommended for closed pore cycles, both clear and pigmented, and are ideal for kitchen and bathroom coatings. Their high thixotrophy makes them also suitable for painting shaped items, even upright structures.
