This system can be used to analyse Thermal Conductivity of Solids, Powders, Pastes or Thin Films This system works out of Hot Wire Method (Transient Hot Wire Method). While the 710 model can also analyse Thin Film the model 700 cannot. Both models would have a 5.7 inch colour LCD display and would have a two-channel RS-232C interface and a USB 2 channel output also. There are many probes to choose from like Box type proble PD-11N, Insulated Moisture-proof probe PD-13N, High Temperature probe PD-31N etc. The probe PD-31N can work from -100 to 1000 Deg C. The Thin film in 710 would be analysed in either a Box type probe or an Insulated Moisture-Proof probe. Various calibration tools are available like Clear quartz, Silicone Rubber, Polyethylene Foam etc.

Thermal Conductivity Meter is a portable instrument for the measurement of thermal conductivity and thermal resistivity in accordance with ASTM D5334 – Standard Test Method for Determination of Thermal Conductivity of Soil and Soft Rock by Thermal Needle Probe Proce-dure.The TLS 100, designed with ease of use and convenience in mind, is capable of testing soils and other soft materials with an excellent accuracy of 5% and reproducibility of 2%. With the available on-board memory, several measurements can be saved and stored. At any point the transfer of saved measurements to a PC is simple and involves the use of either the SD memory card for direct trans-fer to Microsoft Excel via an available card slot on the PC or by using the included TLS 100 uploading software.

LM: The model LM is used for thermal conductivity measurements of liquids according to ASTM D2717. The unit is capable of measuring on Nano/micro particle fluids and powders.   By combining the high precision thermal conductivity sensor with a high dynamic wide range heating/cooling device, a new standard on the field of thermal conductivity measurements could be set.The measurement principle is based on a resistance measuremnet at a hot wire with a diameter of only 100µm.
