Two Pack Specialize Binder Waterproof CoatingDubond’s Hydrocrete 2K is a two component binder & acrylic flexible water proofing & protective coating system composed of specialize binder cement with high performance additives & acrylic emulsion polymer. It is applied to waterproof and protect concrete and similar structures. Specially formulated for swimming pools, retaining walls, pile heads, water tanks, submerged tunnels, sumps, bridge decks, marbles, granites and a wide variety of extreme service class structures because on curing it forms and excellent elastomeric, waterproof & protective layer over the substrate.Areas of Application Dubond’s Hydrocrete 2K can be applied to new or old concrete structures that are structurally sound and strong. The substrate must be sound enough, clean and free of dirt, grease, oil, sludge, moss, blistered cement coating, loose plaster etc. Thoroughly wire brush the surface to remove saturated dirt and lose particles. Wash the surface to remove dust. Allow the surface to dry completely. Sealer / Primer Coat The concrete or cementitious substrates are highly porous. It is necessary to make the substrate less Absorptive so that the top coats film thickness remains same. Krishna SEALER is highly elastomeric acrylic emulsion polymer without filled system has extra ordinary penetrating power which seals the porosity. Micro crevices of the substrate. It provides strong adhesion to the substrate and top coating. Due to non-filled system it overcomes the problem of linear stress and strain created in the substrate. Apply one coat of SEALER as a primer coat by brush. Apply the top coat after one hour but within four hours of drying of SEALER coat. Application Seal the cracks of parapet wall and roof substrate by creating a groove of 3mm size, with acrylic sealant. Allow the sealant to dry for 24 hours before applying a sealer / primer. Mixing Mix the content of pack in its original container by stirring with the help of a wooden stick to a uniform, homogenous free flowing paste consistency. Apply the first coat of Ultimate by brush or roller generously. Allow the coating to dry for attest 3 hours before applying second coat. Minimum two coats are recommended. If required, additional coat may be applied. Allow the coating to dry / cure on its own, external curing is not required. Cleaning : Tools and equipment to be cleaned with water immediately after the use. Storage & Shelf Life : Store the material in cool dry place. Shelf life of the unopened container is one year from the date of manufacture.
