This pickle is made with small, organic chillies which are deceptively power packed with sweet pungency. No bigger than half an inch at their biggest, it is said that the smaller the birds eye chilli, the hotter its bite! Birds eye chilli, as is with other chillies, originated from Mexico and is now cultivated in other parts the world. In India, it grows in the north-eastern region and in the southern state of Kerala. The Birds Eye chilli is well known in the region for its heat level, which sort of contradicts its tiny size.
