double cone blender (pbxdcb) is ideal for mixing of powders and homogenous lubrication of granules. Cones are manufactured out of ss 316 quality sheet. To enhance the missing, paddle blades are provided on central shaft. Drive motor is connected to a gear box on ss rigid stand. Charging height varies as per the capacities. Suitable opening for charging with ss cover and lock nuts, discharge port is fitted with mucon/butterfly valve which helps to unload powder faster. Pipe guards provided with limit switch interlocking to motor, which ensures safe operation for higher capacities. Two-thirds of the volume of the cone blender is filled to ensure proper mixing.

We are offering double cone dryer, blender etc.this type of dryer is, to some extent, replacing the agitated rotary vacuum dryer. It has two opposing jacketed cones on a common jacketed short cylindrical base. When the cones are in a vertical position the dryer can be rapidly discharged. The unit is provided with supporting trunnions running on suitable bearings. The trunnions are hallowing. A vacuum connection is made through one of the trunnions. The connection pipe is turned upwards in the cone and is fitted with a dust filter as its end. Inlet and outlet pipes pass through the outer trunnion for the supply of suitable heating medium to the jacket. A special design of a rotating valve is used for this purpose. One of the trunnions is driven through a reduction gear and chain drive. rotation speed will range from 12 rpm for small units to 3 to 4 rpm for large commercial installations. the horse powers vary between 0.5 and 15 the base cylinder diameter is about 1m to 3m.

The mixer basically consists of two conical portions and a center cylindrical shell. The cone blenders provided with fixed baffles inside the drum. The double cone blender is an highly efficient machine for powder / powder mixing. The main drum is coupled to suitable motor through a oil filled gear box mounted on a sturdy frame structure. Highest capacity models are provided with butterfly valve on one side.   An optional charging hopper of 60 Ltrs capacity is provided with suitable clamping arrangement for charging the material into the drum.The double cone blenders are available from 5 kgs of R&D purposes to 500 Kgs for larger scale productions.

The double cone blender consists of two cone shaped sections with 45º slopes. The cone sections are welded at their wide ends to a centre band. The blender is mounted between two trunnions that permits the unit to tumble end over end. In operation, material is loaded to a fill level of 50 to 60 % of the blender’s capacity.   The blender tumbles and the material in the vessel spreads out. The transition area at the band between the cones prevents the material from sliding along the inner wall and instead causes the material to fold over itself. This provides gentle mixing with only very slight shear.   The blender is ideal for soft powders of granules that degrade by attrition. The smooth transition area in the vessel also simplifies cleaning because there are no areas to trap particles and cross-contaminate batches. Contra rotary baffles with mechanical seals at both ends can be provided for critical mixing applications.   SALIENT FEATURES  he conical shape at both ends enables uniform mixing and easy discharge. All contact parts are made out of stainless 304 or 316 quality material, as required by customer. Maximum care has been taken to ensure safe operation of the unit. Manual rotating facility with hand wheel for inching. The same will be provided with ss cover & limit switch. ( In 200 Kgs. & above model ) Two nos. of safety road will be provided at back side. ( One LH side & one RH side ) Suitable size of butter fly valve at one end of the cone provided for material discharge & hole with openable cover provided at other end of the cone for material charging & cleaning. One shaft with 04 nos. of fixed buffels with mirror polished provided inside the cone. Cone will be mirror polished from the inside & outside & structure will be matt polished.  All moving parts covered with SS304 covers. Safety guards made from SS304 pipes provided in front of the m/c with limit switch. Panel fabricated from SS304 material with facility of three phase indication, D.O.L. tarter, digital timer & Amp. Meter. As per customer requirement machine will be provided with left side drive or with right side drive. The conical shape at both ends enables uniform mixing and easy discharge. Worm reduction gear use for speed reduction. Food grade rubber gasket will be used on both end of cone as well as in butterfly valve. Inside & outside of the cone will be polished to the mirror finished.   All safety guards & covers made out of SS304 in GMP Model.
