We now offer a selection of exempt quantity gamma sources encapsulated in standard size test tubes or rods for use with well type radiation detectors. These sources are exempt sources and of nominal activity. The isotope is deposited as a point source in the bottom of the tube and is then sealed with epoxy. Two tube sizes are stocked as standard, 13x100mm and 12x75mm, which is shipped as the standard if the other size is not specified. Rods are available as 5" x 0.375" -which will be shipped as the standard if the 0.5" diameter rod is not specified and 5" x 0.5".

TLD BADGE READER
TLD READER SYSTEM Type TL109-D developed and manufactured by NUCLEONIX systems is a personal dosimeter reader system designed to read the dose recorded by the wearer of the TL Dosimeter along with personnel ID punched code on the badge automatically during readout cycle. The TL dosimeter which records the integrated dose received is to be worn by the personnel who are to be monitored for their radiation exposure, which can be estimated on the basis of the TL Dosimeter readings. TLD dosimeter works on the property of certain materials which absorb energy when exposed to X, a or ß rays. On heating, the absorbed energy is released in the form of visible light which is proportional to the absorbed energy. TLD Badge: It comprises of a plastic badge and thick aluminium card on which three circular holes are punched and teflon embedded TL discs (CaSo4 : Dy) are chipped into the corresponding holes. A symmetric ‘V’ cut provided in the card permit the card to be loaded in the plastic badge only in one way and ensure proper positioning of the badge in the magazine. The TLD card is provided with three rows of punched holes for the purpose of badge identification. The holes punched in a specified sequence to provide unique ID to each of the personnel. This ID is read out by the TLD Reader at the time of measurement.

Thermo luminescence Reader Type TL1009 designed and offered by NUCLEONIX SYSTEMS is a versatile controller based unit, facilitating the user to subject the TL sample under study to the desired heating profile, to record the digitized TL glow curve. STANDARD INSTRUMENTATION BIN
Nucleonix Modular Instrumentation Bin IB401 had been designed to provide mechanical and electrical facilities to accommodate various nuclear instrument modules. Upto 12 single width modules or combination of multiple width modules can be accommodated. The module guiding channels made up of plated steel rods facilitate easy sliding-in and positioning of modules at the same time, adding strength to the bin. The power ON-OFF switch, indicating lamp & monitoring points are all mounted on a thin vertical control panel conveniently located on right extreme of the bin. Also the power supply is conservatively rated to power any combination of modules that the bin will physically accommodate. IB401 modular system Bin provides mounting space for twelve standard module width of the 8 ¾ inches high type. The twelve corresponding module connectors are provided with necessary wiring for distribution of the all the standard power supply voltages. A small control panel not occupying any of the available module space is located at the right side of the bin, providing control switches, test points and indicator lamps for power supply.

STACK GAS MONITORING
Stack Gas Monitor, Type: SM809 manufactured by Nucleonix Systems, designed using state-of-art electronics is primarily used for monitoring Alpha, Beta activity present in the form of suspended particulate in air and Kr-85 preset in the form of gas. It is very much essential to monitor the quality of air in & around Radiochemical plants, reprocessing plants and other similar facilitates. Usually stack, by pass lines are let into this system & after measurements, it is connected back to stack. It essentially has an air suction system comprising of a suction pump, rotometers to measure air flow rate, beta suction chamber with arrangement for trapping of suspended dust particulate onto the filter paper. An end window GM tube of 1� dia facing the filter paper counts for Beta activity in CPM CPSBq on continuous basis. In addition this system has Alpha air-sampler detector assembly consists of a filter holder 60mm dia, a suction chamber with air inlet and outlet & detector housing fabricated with stainless steel .Alpha Detector consists of ZnS (Ag) deposited on loose mylar support of 50mm dia coupled to matched PMT with Pre-amplifier. Area Gamma Monitor type GA 720S, manufactured by NUCLEONIX SYSTEMS employs based design and is primarily meant to serve as a Gamma Zone Monitor to indicate dose rates and give alarm, visual and aural, once the dose rates exceed the preset level fixed by the user. Also relays will be activated on alarm. This unit will be useful for monitoring Gamma dose rate levels in working areas of various Radiological Nuclear facilities which may include reactor building, Atomic power stations, Radiochemical Reprocessing plants, waste immobilization plants & other similar facilities. This unit indicates the dose rate digitally on a 6 x 7 segment LED display. Each of the annunciator windows for NORMAL and ACTIVE conditions has LED array. SOURCE KIT
SK 210 offered by NUCLEONIX contains one each of uncalibrated Beta and Gamma reference sources. These are low activity disc sources of the order of 0.1 to 3 micro curie for Beta and Gamma. Gamma source disc is evaporated and sealed on 25mm dia X 5mm thick plastic disc. Where as Beta source disc is evaporated and sealed on 25mm X 10mm thick plastic disc and covered with 10mg sq.cm aluminized Mylar window These radioactive sources offered are from BRIT & are uncalibrated reference sources with an approx accuracy of ± 10% in activity. Sliding bench Type
Sliding bench SB205 is designed specially for the purpose of mounting bench the G.M counter accessories for doing the experiments in a most convenient fashion. This essentially consists of a bench with sliding groves with a graduated S.S scale fixed on one side of it. Scale has graduations both in cm & inches upto 50cm20 inches. There are three vertical sliding mounts, one for mounting of End Wndow G.M detector, Second is ‘Absorber Holder’ & Third is ‘Source Holder’ & source mounts. Semi Auto TLD Badge Reader TL1010S is a personal monitoring system, designed to read the TLD card (TL dosimeters) worn by radiation workers. This Badge Reader system is designed using state of art electronics, improvised electro-mechanical system, embedded code and software to load and read the TLD cards for TL glow curve dose. System facilitates entry of ID number for the person and his dose record and glow curve can be stored in the system. TL dosimeter is heated by hot gas (N 2 ) jet to 280 o C using a SS heater assembly & TL output is recorded using PMT where integral of the current output is proportional to the dose. It is a Thermoluminescent dosimeter based personnel monitoring system. Thermoluminescent dosimeters make use of the property of certain materials which absorb energy when exposed to X, Gamma or Beta radiation. On heating, the absorbed energy is released in the form of visible light. A plot of light intensity emitted against temperature is known as a glow curve. For a given heating rate, the temperature at which the maximum light emission occurs, is called the glow-peak temperature and it is characteristic, of the individual TL material (also called phosphor). The quantity of the visible light emitted (TL output) is found to be proportional to the energy absorbed by the TL material. The TLD personnel monitoring system essentially consists of two major parts: TLD badge and the TLD badge reader. The TLD Badge Reader comprises of a plastic cassette containing three Teflon TLD discs (13.3mm and 0.8mm thick) that are mechanically clipped on to circular holes (12.0mm) punched in an aluminium card (52 x 30 x 1mm). The TLD Badge Reader is designed to measure X, Gamma and Beta radiation dose. The metal filter combination (1mm Al + 0.9mm Cu) is provided to reduce the photon energy dependence of the TL discs. The TL badge reader is calibrated such that the TL output of the disc under the metallic filter reads directly the gamma radiation dose. .

SCINTILLATION MONITOR
Wide Area Alpha Scintillation monitor type AM736W manufactured and supplied by NUCLEONIX SYSTEMS is provided with drawer assembly to facilitate sample counting, both in Planchets & on filter paper. This unit serves both as a contamination monitor cum counter. It uses a ZnS(Ag) scintillator screen as the Alpha scintillator which is covered with a thin aluminized mylar window to prevent light leakages. Efficiency better than 25% at centre is guaranteed. SCINTILLATION DETECTOR FOR LEAD
This Lead Shield is designed to shield Scintillation Detectors of NUCLEONIX make. LS 250 is built-up of SEVEN interlocking rings, excluding top & bottom discs. The bottom ring is provided with a small opening so that the cables from the Scintillation Detector Pre-amplifier base could be taken out for connecting to the Gamma ray spectrometer counting system. This Lead Shield Type: LS 250 is compact and just enough to accommodate any of the Scintillation Detectors supplied by NUCLEONIX. The top disc is provided with handle to lift is away for introducing the source on the flat crystal top and liquid vial into the well type crystal respectively. The building block type of construction of lead shield makes it convienient to assemble. The inner side of the lead shield is lined with Aluminium to minimise scattering.

RADIOACTIVE CONTAMINATION ANALYSER
Radioactive contamination Analyzer (RaC) RA1006 is a laboratory instrument. It is highly recommended for Radio analytical labs. Additionally, it is also highly recommended for steel & foundry industry for their QA departments to measure RaC in their components products. System measure RaC in Bqg. Most of the portable hand held meters cannot measure contamination in Bqg.
