Our Pulverizer consists of a rotor assembly fitted with beaters depend upon the grinding of material (Carbide tip, T type and Hard welding hammers) is generally operated at high speeds ( 2880 RPM). The grinding action in all the pulverizers is due to the impact between rapidly moving beaters & the particle itself. The energy of the moving hammers is dissipated into the particles being ground by virtue of their inertia, thus causing the particle size reduction. The machine is available in different sizes 1 HP to 75 HP - output depends on material and mesh

Grinding is done between two discs-one stationery and the other revolving eccentrically at high speed. The discs are made from heat treated mehanite metal. With the help of a convenient hand wheel, the size of the final product can be adjusted. This can be done, even while the machine is in operation. A self locking device holds the hinged grinding chamber in place and affords easy and quick access to it, for removal of ground samples and for cleaning. The Pulveriser has a capacity of reducing about half of a kg. of a quartz type sample to 100 mesh in about a minute. The platinum pharmatech pulverizes are designed for wet and dry granulation, pulverizing and sizing of crude drugs. The product is fed to the processing chamber through a screw feeder from the hopper. The product is subjected to centrifugal forces from a high speed swing beater, and against a liner plate and is milled to required size and made to pass through a sieving screen for delivery of the final product. Feed control from the screw feeder is consistent while the final product is uniform in size.
