Body housing to suit ASME B 16.5 # 150. Bottom flush plate with cavity inside for removal of slurry and contamination. Flushing nipple provided for steam to prevent solidification of slurry. The knife gate can be completely withdrawn from the process flow in the open position and can be replaced without taking the valve out of service. Suitable for wide range of industrial applications. It can handle dry and wet media. The sleeve will be Molded with an integral inner ring that located the seal into the valve housing and helps resist the high shearing forces when the gate is driven into them. Valve shall have gland packing as a secondary seal to eliminate any leakage between knife gate and the body in any orientation and prevent outside contamination to get into the body.
