Pressure Sensors
Specifications: A pressure sensor measures pressure, typically of gases or liquids. Pressure is an expression of the force required to stop a fluid from expanding, and is usually stated in terms of force per unit area. A pressure sensor usually acts as a transducer; it generates a signal as a function of the pressure imposed.

Pressure Sensor
Monad manufactures a wide range of absolute, gauge, and true gauge pressure sensors. All of these pressure sensors are manufactured as standard, modified standard, and custom transducers to provide fast delivery. Monad Pressure Sensor: * 10 inches of water (2.5 mBar) up to 200,000 psi (14,000 Bar). * Miniatures the size of your fingernail * Unamplified, amplified, and digital output * Sub Sea * Flush Mount * Superior long term stability Features: Monad is among a handful of companies offering pressure sensors that can measure pressure up to 200,000 psi with superior accuracy and reliability. Foil based strain gauge technology enables our pressure sensors to withstand pressure that would destroy silicon based or micromachined pressure sensors. The Model MPS-01 strain gauge pressure sensor measures pressure up to 60,000 psi with +/-0.1% accuracy. For ranges up to 100,000 psi, we offer the Model MPS-02 with 0.5% accuracy and operating temperature range from 0 to 250 degrees Centigrade. For your most demanding applications, we use a hoop-stress design and special metal alloys to custom-build pressure transducers that measure up to 200,000 psi safely, reliably, and with 0.75% accuracy. Typical applications for these tough, reliable high-end instruments are in oil-field geology and aerospace research and development. Our high pressure sensors offer optional compensated temperature ranges from0to 250 degrees Centigrade. with either millivolt or high-leve l outputs. Versions certified for hazardous environments are also available. The MAP-05 is a versatile, flush diaphragm, miniature pressure transducer which delivers a high-level, internally-amplified 1-5VDC, 1-10VDC, or 4-20mA output signal. The MAP-05 is fully welded from 17- 4PH stainless steel and hermetically sealed, making it a solid performer in harsh or corrosive environments.
