Continuous casting is the process by which molten metal is solidified into a semi finished Billet, Bloom or Slab. Continuous casting has evolved to achieve improved yield quality productivity and cost efficiency. The working principle of the CCM is that the liquefied metal poured into Tundish which is a container that leads to the Mould that will caste the steel. The Tundish is placed at a certain height above the ground level and the whole process of casting uses gravity to operate the Tundish is constantly supplied with molten steel to keep the process going. The molten metal moves swiftly through the Mould and does not completely solidify in it. The entire mould is cooled with water. After exiting the spray chamber, the strand passes through straightening rolls and withdrawal rolls. Finally billet is cut in desired length (manually or automatically) and conveyed through roller table & stored in cooling bed or sometimes directly feed to rolling mill. Machine size we offer 3/6, 4/7, 5/9, 6/11, 7/14 as per customer‘s requirement.

ELECTRAMECH INDIA, would like to introduce ourselves as a team, involved in Steel Melting Shop related capital equipment for the last 16 years and executing projects for reputed OEM dealing with Continuous Casting Machine, Ladle Refining Furnace, Electric ARC Melting Furnace & accessories. The members were leading departments viz. Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics and Automation for their employers and now we have started our own business in the name & style of "ELECTRAMECH INDIA".
We do Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply, Erection & Commissioning of Continuous Casting Machine (CCM) / Billet Caster.
We also supply Gear Boxes, Pumps, Motors, Cylinders, VVF Drives, Spray Nozzles, Tundish Nozzles etc.
Along with spares & changeover arrangements for CCM we do manufacture Tundish, Tundish Car, Mould Box, Oscillator, Withdrawal & Straightener, Dummy Bar, SS Spray Cooling Pipes, SS Ring Zone, Apron Rollers, Radius Check Template, Rollers for Roller Table / Withdrawal / Straightener etc.
We also manufacture & dealt with auxiliary equipment for CCM like Auto Hot Billet Shearing Machine, Secondary Water Automation for Billet Cooling System, Ladle, Bail Arm, Slide Gate, Ladle Transfer Car, Ladle Sequence Car, Pump House, Temperature Measuring System, Electrical Panels (MCC, VVFD), Control Desks, Junction Box etc.
We are also capable of incorporating automation for Continuous Casting Process which is the latest technology that controls the every process of the CCM through PLC that reduces manpower cost which makes production cost lesser.
