A mica washer is a flat disc with a centrally located hole.It's used in insulating applications with excellent electrical properties and high heat resistance.we manufacture mica washers in natural mica and silicon bonded resin mica washers with different ID and OD with specific thickness. 

It’s a kind of plate like made of Muscovite Paper or Phlogophite Paper micas with proper adhesive (silicon/epoxy) after pressed and baked. It has good mechanical strength and property of heat resistance. It can be used within 400°C- 700°C for a long time.

Mica Scrap is obtained from Mica Mines, it is basically a Mica that is below specifications and not suitable for use as sheet mica, because of size or quality. It is screened over ½" sq. inches openings and have an average size between 12 mm – 50 mm with thickness between 0.15 mm – 5 mm. Mica Scrap should be cleaned, dried, hard, free from mineral and non-mineral impurities, such as: Quartz, felspar, garnet, tourmaline, stones, mud-stained or biotite mica, clay, send as well as other inclusions viz; paper, wood-leaves, straw, iron contents etc.Uses : Mica Scrap is now mainly used for manufacturing of mica paper which is used to make mica sheets/plates and mica tapes.   The below types of Muscovite Mica Scrap are produced and exported by us throughout the world. a. Ruby Mica Scrap (high test) - Calcine mica paper for high voltage mica tapes. b. Ruby Mica Scrap - Spotless mica paper for mica tapes. c. Green Mica Scrap - Spotless mica paper d. Mica Scrap and all mica waste are pulverized into a wide range of selected Mesh Sizes of Flakes and henceMica Flakes derived. The quality and grade of Mica Flakes is derived on quality of mica scrap used i.e. temperature, hardness, colour etc. The sizes of mica flakes are made as per its requirements and uses.

Mica crystals coming out of the mines in the form of blocks, lumps or books of irregular shapes, sizes and thickness along with impurities .These mica crystals are derived in blocks hence the word 'MICA BLOCK' has been used for processed natural mica. A highly trained workers with knives and scissors clean and shape the crude mica to make 'Mica Blocks'. A minimum thickness of 0.18mm is required after dressing (cut/clean) for mica block or else below these are called 'Thin Mica'. Mica Block are classified into 13 sizes with different forms , the sizes varies from .75 sq inch to 100 sq inch.( 1.6cm2 to 100 cm2) Mica Blocks are available in various qualities like, Ruby Mica Block, Green Mica Block, Spotted Mica Block.
