We are offering los angeles abrasion testing machine. The machine consist of a hollow cylinder of steel, closed at both ends, having an inside diameter of 700mm and inside length of 500mm. The opening shall be closed dust tight with a removable bolted in place. A detachable shelf, which extends through the drum catches the abrasive charge and does not allow it to fall on the cover. The drum is rotated at a speed of 30 to 33 rpm by an electric motor through a heavy-duty reduction gear. It is fitted with counter and push button starter. A tray for collection of the material and set of 12 nos. Hardened steel balls will be supplied with the machine. Fitted with 1 hp, 1440 rpm motor, suitable for operation on three phase, 440 volts, 50 hz. Complete with test report and instruction manuals.

Description :-Abrasion testing machine is used to test crushed rock, crushed slag and uncrushed gravel for resistance to abrasion. The machine determines the resistance to wear of small size coarse aggregates and crushed rocks.Salient Features: The machine comprises of a hollow cylinder, which is horizontally mounted on a strong frame on ball bearings. The machine is supplied with abrasive charges consisting of a set of 12 hardened steel balls having approximately 48 mm diameter. The cylinder has an opening, which can be closed with a dust tight cover to promote charging and discharging the cylinder with the material under test. It consists of a detachable extension that extends throughout the interior of the cylinder and prevents it from falling on the cover. The cylinder is rotated by an electric motor through a heavy reduction gear. A revolution counter is attached to the frame and provided with tray for collection of materials at the end of the test.
