Elastomeric Coating provides a long-lastingWaterproof Coating Exterior masonry walls—particularly ones that are weathered—have long represented one of the most difficult maintenance challenges for the contractor, the painter, and the waterproofer alike.   Most typical exterior surfaces can be successfully protected and maintained by the regular applications of high quality conventional acrylic latex paints. But even the best paints often tend to split and fail when they have been applied over the surface cracks that develop as masonry ages   A Better Alternative: Elastomeric Wall Coatings  The construction chemical industry has known about the limitations of traditional paints on masonry. For almost that long, the industry has been searching for better alternatives. Early attempts to solve the cracking problem, involved formulating coatings with polymers not generally used in conventional paints. Many of these experimental systems provided acceptable service as dirt-resistant coatings.   Unfortunately, virtually all of the polymers tested formed hard films that were too rigid to accommodate the temperature-related fluctuation in the dimensions of the cracks. Inevitably, coatings based on these hard polymers fractured, exposing the masonry to the elements once again.   Recognizing that hard binders were not the answer, the industry turned to "softer'' polymers with much lower glass transition temperatures. Many of the products investigated were already seeing use as binders for caulks and sealants. Because they had low glass transition temperatures, they furnished excellent elasticity and flexibility over a wide range of temperatures.   ADVANTAGES: Instead of depending on a separate, external component to impart flexibility to the film, 100% acrylic elastomeric polymers derive elasticity from a unique combination of special composition, molecular weight, and crosslinking. As a result, they retain flexibility over periods of time. Moreover, formulations based on the 100% acrylic elastomeric polymers exhibit their elastomeric properties over a broad range of temperatures. Thus, the performance of waterborne coatings based on the acrylic elastomerics remains consistently outstanding under all conditions.   In comparing the different types of binders in other areas of performance, the 100% acrylic binders have a significant edge over styrenated products in the area of ultraviolet stabiiity, over viny! acetate products in the area of hydrolysis resistance, and over both chemistries in the area of dirt pick-up resistance. As a result, on extended exposure, waterborne acrylic coatings are more resistant to chalking and do not yellow as do styrenated products. Surface should be washed with water and allowed to dry. Priming : Apply the priming coat using recommended primer or by mixing ZC-SEALCOAT with water in the ratio of 1:2 using brush. Finishing : Finish the surface by applying 2 coats of ZC-SEALCOAT with an intercoat interval of 4 hours. Thinning : ZC-SEALCOAT is ready to apply paint, which does not require thinning. Storage : Keep container closed with a tight lid when not in use. Store in dry place.

Primary Use : Perma Eazee Coat SP is used for waterproofing all types of RCC surface such as roofs chajjas, parapet walls and external walls. Asbestos cement sheet roof can also be waterproofed using scrim cloth or nylon mesh at the junction, overlaps and J � bolts as reinforcement. As a damp proof course, Perma Eazee Coat SP is applied under the first layer of bricks or blocks in masonry works. Because of the high quality of the product it can be used as final coat on many vertical surfaces after using a roller brush for the desired texture. Advantages : Perma Eazee Coat SP is applied directly from the can. Perma Eazee Coat SP cures to give a permanently flexible and resilient smooth surface' resistant to a wide range of temperature. No cleaning solvents are required and it can be washed off with water when it is still wet. Can be used on wet surface and during rainy seasons. Mechanical damages to the membrane can easily be repaired by spot application. The membrane allows the concrete surface to breath. Seamless application no joint are required. Can be applied with ease to a desired texture using a roller. Direction For Use : Waterproofing normal concrete : Clean the surface to remove all loose particles and any deleterious matter. It repairs all cracks, honeycombs and blemishes from the concrete surface. Brush-apply Perma Eazee Coat SP primer on the entire surface liberally. Perma Eazee Coat SP is prepared by diluting one part by volume of 'Eazee Coat - SP with one volume of water. When the primer coat is just 'dry apply one coat Perma Eazee Coat SP. When this coat is still wet provide fibre glass, scrim fabric or nylon mesh' reinforcements at junctions of vertical and, horizontal surfaces. Then apply second coat of Perma Eazee Coat SP so as to get an even and smooth finish or roller applied textured surface as desired. On asbestos sheet roofing : Provide scrim cloth, fibre-glass fabric or nylon mesh, at J.blots and junction of sheet over one coat of Perma Eazee Coat SP and then brush apply Perma Eazee Coat SP on the entire surface in two coats. Note : Stir the material well in the container before use. Packing : Perma Eazee Coat SP is supplied in 1.5 kg and 15 kg packs Shelf Life : Perma Eazee Coat SP has a shelf life of 18 months if stored in Manufacturer's' original packing in a cool and dry place away from moisture and heat. Premium quality acrylic resins are combined with reinforcing laminar pigments & incorporating an epoxy additive to increase the abrasion resistance properties of the film.
