HIgh Shear Granulator is a multi-purpose processer equally suitable for high speed dispersion of dry powders, aqueous or solvent granulation, and effervescent products and melt pelletization. Wet granulation is a common step in the manufacture of many solid dosage pharmaceuticals. Wet granulation can be accomplished in a high shear granulator.A mechanical impeller moves the powder while a liquid binder is applied onto a moving powder bed. Addition of the liquid binder starts the formation of granules. The granulator also has a chopper. Impeller and chopper are mainly responsible for wet granulation in the rapid mixer granulator.

Agitated thin film evaporators and dryers are used to concentrate, refine or recover a valuable product through distillation or similar thermal separation processes. Due to its inherent design features, it is ideal for thermal treatment of solutions and heat sensitive products, where reduced operating temperatures and vacuum operating pressures are desirable. The typical agitated thin film evaporator consists of a tubular heat transfer area with an external heating jacket and a fast-revolving, inner rotor with flexible or rigid wiper elements. The driving speed is adapted to the product being handled, its particular specifications and task.

Rotary Lobe Pumps are self-priming , valveless, positive displacement pumps. The even rotation of the rotor pair creates a vacuum on the priming side of the pump, which can be defined by the direction of rotation of the drive. This vacuum draws the liquid into the pump chamber. With further rotation, the pumped medium is conveyed past the pump wall into the pressure area.

Vapor from the last effect flows to a condenser. The last-effect vapor body is maintained at a high vacuum with a steam-jet air ejector or mechanical vacuum pump.he driving force is the pressure drop from the first to the last effect. For the same overall pressure differential and process conditions, the evaporator with more effects will require less steam. The evaporation in each effect will be higher for each pound of steam condensed in the first-effect heat exchanger. For the same evaporation rate, a multiple effect evaporator will require less steam than required for a single-effect evaporator.
