The precision pulsed transmitter beam is interrupted or reflected by the object. The advanced electronic circuit generates an effective output signal when the object is sensed.Diffused Scan: Diffused scan type switches have both transmitter and receiver is same enclosure. The closely focused beam is reflected back by the object. Through-Beam: Through-Beam type switches have separate transmitter and receiver. The object is sensed when the beam is interrupted.Retro Reflective: Retro reflective switches use a special reflectorto reflect back the beam. When an object interrupt the beam, an output signal is generated. These model have greater sensing distance compare to diffuse scan type. The receiver does not considerthe reflection from the object.Technical Terms Standard ObjectThe sensing distance specified for diffused scan switch is considered with a white object having minimum 90% reflectivity.ConstrictionThese switches are offered in tubular metallic, Acrylic and Plastic enclosure.
