The Control Panels are very critical in paint-shops. The operations, efficiency and Safety of the Paint-shop depend on the Control panel design. Crescent provides following type of Panels. The conventional type of panels with contactors and relays most commonly used in the industry. We provide all the safety like HRC fuses/MCB and Relay protection. The electric circuits are inter locked/connected for small automation. Mimics may also be provided on the panels for better process display and Controls. PLC based control panels which perform control functions through modular input and output (I/O) modules. The modularity of PLC allows the user to combine generic I/O modules with a suitable controller to form a control system specific to his needs. Input devices and output devices of the process are connected to the PLC and the control program is entered into the PLC memory. Touch Screen Panels : Crescent plants can be provided with touch screen Control panels where  as the complete panel and its process details can be operated / controlled from the touch screen provided on the PLC panel . With these plans plant process can be automated to save on fuel and energy.   SCADA Based Control Panels : Crescent now offers SCADA- Supervisory Controls and Data Aquision based control Panels for better controls of the Plant . The supervisor or the  Paintshop manager can control the complete plant from a remote location. Different datas can be collected and the reports can be obtained as desired for better process controls, low maintenance and automation of the system. Different reports like current of various critical motors, Conveyor speed and oven/booth temperatures at a given point of time, fuel consumption with productivity etc. can be tabulated with these panels.Advantages of SCADA Automated Centralized Control data logging and reporting with Alarm Control systems. Liquid painting is used to give high quality asthetic finishes and can be applied on – metal, plastic and wood. High quality, multilayered paints can be applied in these virtually dust free Crescent plant designs.There are various Liquid Painting processes meant for different substrates, shape of components based on ultimate Finish and Quality requirements. The following can be the general classification:   Multi Layers (Coats) Liquid Painting Lines : The most common liquid painting line uses Wet-on Wet or Bake-on-Bake – 2 or 3 coats of paints one over the other. A typical line may be Primer coat followed by Top/Metallic coat and further followed by Clear/Lacquer coat.  This is done after adequate surface preparation. The paint application system may be HVLP, Electrostatic, Airless, Bells or Discs depending on the shape of the components, production volumes , paint consumption and the type of paint. The application process can be automated like Auto Guns on Reciprocators or Painting Robots .

This comprises of gas concentration level (LEL) monitors with alarm systems. A fully customized panel can be installed which can handle any number of channels, can provide any number and combination of relay alarm devices, repeater panels, zone annuciators etc. The monitor can provide the functions of signal processing, alarm generation, battery back-up power supply etc. all in a weather proof enclosure. The sensor head can be installed on a mounting bracket in the area of interest .A control output is available for directly driving external horn, hooter, flasher, exhaust fan, Shut off valve, voice alarms, auto-dialers etc. 

Fume Exhaust cum Scrubber : Fume Exhaust is provided to protect men/machines/materials in the plants from hazardous gases and fumes and Pollution Controls.  The Exhaust can be directly feed to environment or pass through Water Scrubber based on the Hazardous nature of the fumes.

Crescent ovens can be heated by :   Electric Heaters – Normally for Small Batch Type Applications. Oil Fired – HSD/LDO- With air to Air Heat Exchangers and Thermal Oil Heating. Crescent offers  high RPM’s Electrostatic Discs for Automatic Paint Applications. The Electrostatic disc tends to throw the paint away when the paint passes through the charged  disc, forming much finer thin fog.
