History:
The company had a proprietary unit under the name of Prakash Industries started its business in 1980, at Jamshedpur as a Sub-contractor for Electro plating and then ventured into the Manufacturing of Sheet Metal Pressing Auto component for TATA MOTORS Truck Division and Excavator division for TATA Jamshedpur.
We have started a second unit under the name of BBC Multifold at MIDC Pune in 1991 for continuation of business with TATA MOTORS Pune. We are proud to be a single source supplier to TATA MOTORS.
We received the award of RASHTRIYA UDYOG in the year of 1995 from International Economic Forum.
Excellence award in the year - 2001.
We have received ISO 9002 Certification in 1999 and QS 9000 from RWTUV in May 2001 and ISO/TS 16949 Certification in May 2005.
With a substantial growth in business company has changed it's status form proprietary company to private limited company and is operating under the name of Bharat Automotive Pressings (I) Pvt. Ltd. and transformed our organization from family controlled to professionally managed organization with proper system from 2003 onwards.
We have supplied Fog signal to Defence Pune.
Our products are exported to London (U.K.) & Sydney (Australia).
