Venturi Scrubber
DeGATECH offer a wide range of venturi scrubbers that is widely used in both applications of a particulate collection as well as pollution control equipment. A venturi scrubber is designed to effectively use the energy from the inlet gas stream to atomize the liquid being used to scrub the gas stream. Particle and gas removal occur in the throat section as the inlet gas stream mixes with the fog of tiny liquid droplets. The inlet stream then exits through the diverging section, where it is forced to slow down. Venturis can be used to collect both particulate and gaseous pollutants, but they are more effective in removing particles than gaseous pollutants.

Continuous cleaning occurs when the timer board is always pulsing to clean your filters while the dust collector is in operation. If you have an extremely demanding application, this may be the right option for you. If you don’t have an extremely demanding application, on-demand cleaning may be a better solution. With on demand cleaning, the control panel is set by the operator to clean the bags only when the differential pressure reaches a high range, then the system will pulse down to a lower range. They can be used on the bottom of screw conveyors at intermediate discharge locations to divert product to another location, below silos to stop the flow of product to downstream equipment or even as emergency shut-off gates to stop material surges. Typically, plant air pressure (approximately 80 psi) is all that is required to power this multi-use slide gate. We have three proven designs in the field at this time and can custom design a work table to your requirements if one of our proven designs does not meet your need. All units are built to order and to exact dimensions to fit under your machine. STANDARD DOWNDRAFT WORK TABLE: All units over 6’ wide or 10’ long feature a zoned intake system, with no more than 5’ of intake open at any one time. This makes the exhaust system more efficient and allows use of a smaller exhaust blower. Our zones are operated pneumatically to open at the precise time and stay open up to a minute after the cutting has moved into the adjacent zone. There are no mechanical arms hanging out to be tripped by the gantry and no “ski” sticking out to trip them. The slag floor is slanted to the rear of the table and two large cleanout doors are provided. All work tables are designed to support full sheets of 2” plate. Heavier designs are available.

Our people are trained on all OEM designs. They can operate and maintain the system with proficiency and ensure continuous availability. Entrust us with AMC of your dust collection equipments and you shall witness the change. Total number of Engineer visits depends upon the criticality of the job. NON-COMPREHENSIVE AMC DeGATECH’s Non-comprehensive AMC is only service, but very similar to a Comprehensive AMC. In this, the cost of spare parts replacement is borne by the customer. Preventive maintenance is covered on periodic basis and DeGATECH service teams advice on hardware required to avoid break downs.
