Mr Gulam Karachiwala founded the TACKLERS in 1973. He is a qualified Mechanical Engineer, a man with vision and innovative ability. His strength has been his practical and simplified approach to problem solving. His success can be attributed to determination and single mindedness. Above all, he sets as example of being a person of uncompromised ethics and principle.
Mr. Gulam Karachiwala oversees and participates in the operations of both the companies to this date, at the age of 80. He lends his guidance, ideas and efforts to new developments, improving technology and increasing resource efficiencies enabling TACKLERS to maximize value for its customers.
Over the last 25 years, TACKLERS has developed a sincere and dedicated team to help customers find rigging, lifting and climbing solutions. She started with learning on the job in 1993 and today leads the team as a young, dynamic leader and in charge of operations. She is a Commerce Graduate and has a M.Com degree from Pune University. Her valuable learning and experience can be attributed to working closely with large manufacturing companies / groups in India like Kalyani Steels, Alfa laval, Sandvik, Terex, Thermax, etc.
Ms. Farah is actively involved in all aspects of running the business; from strategic tie ups to handling sales, she is taking bold strides in an otherwise male dominated industry. She is committed to safety and delivering solutions to keep TACKLERS rising by lifting!
