Remove one cup from 500ml (half litre) milk and keep remaining milk to heat in a vessel. Add around 6 tablespoons(80g) of sugar in the milk. In the cup of cold milk, add custard powder and make a paste. Add this paste to the boiling milk. Give one boil and remove from gas stove. Keep stirring till it cools.
