Lined NRV Valves Lined NRV Valves have Body of Ductile Iron as per ASTM A 395 Gr-60-40-18 with Ball Made up of Solid PTFE. In This NRV Valve, under normal flow the valves solid PTFE ball is pushed away from its seat and fluid flows through the valve, in a backwards flow condition the ball is pushed firmly back into its seat and prevents flow through the valve stopping process contamination etc. The valve has a 2 piece design with PFAFEP lined ductile iron body and stainless steel fasteners. The PFA liner is securely locked in to its housing with T slots. PFAFEP Lining offers highest corrosion resistance. Minimum lining thickness of 3mm, lining locked by multiple locking grooves. Ball is made of solid PTFE. 2 piece body design high stability rigidity eliminating potential leak path. Full port design minimizes pressure losses and increases flow capacities thus reducing energy and pumping costs. It can be installed either vertically or horizontally depending on the type of application. Size: 25 NB TO 80 NB. Temperature: FEP –Max 180 Degree Celsius PFA Max: 200 Degree Celsius. lange Connection: ANSI B 16.5. Face to Face: ANSI B 16.10 Spark Testing of PFAFEP at 15 KVA. Hydro Body Test at 15 kgcm2. Hydro Seat Test at 10 Kgcm2. Leak Test as per API 598.

The function of the non-return valve is to limit the flow of fluid through it one direction. They may be manually operated or may be automatically operated. Automatic valves are designed for particular pressure, when pressure (of fluid) exceeds that limit, the valve opens allowing the fluid to flow through it. A non-return valve is fitted to ensure that a medium flows through a pipe in the right direction, where pressure conditions may otherwise cause reversed flow. Non-return valves are e.g. used with mixing loops in heating and cooling systems to ensure proper operation, and with domestic water systems to prevent backflow.
