It has pozzolanic properties and reacts chemically with calcium hydroxide at ordinary temperature to form insoluble compounds possessing cementitious properties.   Technical Features of Coal Fly Ash       In addition to economic and ecological benefits, the use of Fly Ash in concrete improves its workability, reduces segregation, bleeding, heat evolution and permeability, strength, inhibits alkali aggregate reaction and enhances sulphate resistance. Due to existence of solid form lignin in the agro waste which acts as a natural binder there is no need to add chemicals or any other foreign substance to the process. And in the age on encashment of the carbon credit, the use of the white coal is very useful and pollution free for the earth.
