Power drive:Worm reduction gear units are manufactured in different sizes & ratios in adoptable type as well as fix foot mounting type. It is available in various size ranging from 28 mm to 203.2 mm with the wide choice of ratio from 5:1 to 70:1 in single stage we are also manufactured in double reduction gear box of ration from 100:1 to 4900:1
Gear Housing :Gear housing in made of close grain best quality cast iron liberally designed to store adequate quantity of oil so as to achieve higher thermal rating. The housing is totally dust proof and oil tight.
Worm:Worm and worm shaft is in single piece accurately made out of high grade alloy steel and is highly polished.
Worm Wheels:The Worm is made of cast phosphorous Bronze rim shrunked and screwed on central iron boss. Teeth are accurately hobbed by generating process. To facilitate inchangeability each worm wheel is inspected to match the master piece.
Bearing :The Tapper roller bearing are used in worm and worm wheel with ample capacity so that it can take fourmal and thrust loads.

The chain is made from unique links which contain packes of self – tooth – forming hardened steel slats. Each slat is free to move sidewise and conform to the tooth shape of the paired sprockets. When the paired wheels are far apart the chain actually operates around a small diameter. When the wheels are close together the chain operates around a large diameter.
This principle – varying the driving and driven diameters – is the principle on which all variable speed control with positive power transmission.
