Spiral Cooling Roll have hard chrome plated surface. Cooled water passing through its Rotary joint to cools the hard chrome plated surface area of the Roll. Cooling Roll cools the contact area that touches the web materials or rubber rolls. There are different type Cooling Rolls like single shell, double shell jacketed type, spiral type. The surface cooling effect will be vary for different types. Cooling Roll having shaft with inside hole to fix rotary joint. Bigger shaft diameter is recommended to avoid breakage of end shafts as end shaft having inside hole.

Normally plain surface is provided but some applications serration is required on surface for gripping. While ordering should provide the application temperature, web material, plain or serration required on surface, maximum speed of web material to meet all your requirements. For soundless working the rolls are also available with ball bearing type cam mechanism also. Normal expansion is 25mm. This Roll comes in diameter 140 mm and working if the web width is more than 1000mm. If web tension is not sufficient to drive the roll extra drive like sprocket or pulley be given as per requirements. Special elastic cord fitted on cam mechanism can be adjustable for more expanding action. It is very important to install the Roll in proper warp angle to get maximum results.
