SALIENT FEATURES The “Equilibrium” water Gauge Glass Cock is of a simple construction eliminating all complicated devices. If the Gauge Glass should break, water is automatically shut off by means of the ball valve provided in the water arm. Main body is from Bronze to IBR Specifications. The use of compressed asbestos fibrepacked sleeves fitted in the body makes the Gauge Glass cock almost perinial for service. Leakage which is due to wear and tear to sleeve can be adjusted as following: (1). Tighten the nut on the handle slowly till the leakage stops while tightening the nut, rotate the handle forward and backward to ensure that the spindle is not jammed. (2). Tighten the bottom plug to the extent to keep the spindle rotation free. The Sleeves when completely worn out after extensive service can be easily replaced. As improvements are made from time to time, the specification is subject to alteration without notice.
