With affordable magazine printing services, customers can avail various magazine formats as per the requirements i.e. the standard size is 8.5x11", usually from 23x36" paper stock. This will give you 16 page signatures or 32 for digest size 5.5x8.5" for text that has no bleeds. If text bleeds on a digest, then we have to trim in 1/4".
Binding of magazines is done in number of ways like
Saddle Stitching: For magazine size, we can bind 8 signatures (16pg) in one pass, giving you a 128pg self cover publication. With a separate cover, we can bind 7 text signatures plus the cover.
Perfect Binding: We can take 22 signatures in one pass, giving you a 352pg publication with 16pg signatures or 704pg with 32pg sigs. However larger page counts are possible with multiple passes. We also offer lay-flat binding.
Glue Bound: Web printing can both fold and glue bind online.
Mechanical Fastenings: We offer GBC, Plasticoil, Wire-O and others.
Hard Cover: We can produce case bound books with printed covers, or with cloth or vinyl coverings that usually also require a dust jacket.
In addition to this, shrink wrapping and other bindery services are also available.
