Diagnostic reagent for quantitative in vitro determination of Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase in human blood on photometric system. NADP is reduced by G6PD in the presence of G-6-P. The rate of formation of NADPH is proportional to the G6PDH activity and is measured as increase in absorbance at 340 nm.
